Naples is an eclectic, rural community nestled among the hills of the Finger Lakes Region of Central NY. Well defined in its character and history, Naples is a self-sustaining community that takes pride in its natural beauty and small-town appeal. Naples celebrates the diversity of its residents and its resources; it is home to people with a wide range of talents. Culture abounds with live theatre, local musicians and so many artisans that an annual tour of their studio workshops draws aficionados from afar. Community activities and events, such as grape pie baking and the annual Grape Festival, have helped to establish the community’s identity as “Grape Country”. Naples’ is a wonderful place to live and a remarkable destination.

There is ample access to water sports, wineries, ski resorts and golfing. The adjacent Hi Tor wildlife management area, Finger Lakes Trail and Grimes Glen provide excellent opportunities to enjoy the region’s natural beauty and outdoor activities. Hunting and fishing are staples in Naples. Hunting parties often stay for a week in hillside cabins, appearing in the Village for fuel, provisions, accessories, and entertainment. Hunting clothes and waders are perfectly normal attire in season.
